Dr. Nafeesa Moosabhoy was educated in Pakistan before coming to the United States in 1967. She completed her internship and residency at Cook County Hospital, and joined the staff of Hinsdale Pediatrics in 1978. Dr. Moosabhoy is past chairwoman of the Department of Pediatrics at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital as well as a member of various committee positions at the hospital. She and her husband live in the area and are the parents of three grown sons and a growing family of grandchildren.
Dr. Campbell graduated from Loyola University School of Medicine and joined Hinsdale Pediatrics following his residency at the university of Chicago Hospital in 1985. He has served as chairman of the Departments of Pediatrics at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital as well as serving on various hospital committees. Dr. Campbell and his wife, Kathy, (Dr. Peshek-Campbell) are the parents of three grown children.
Dr. Franco completed her education at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, before entering the residency program at the University of Chicago. She was the Chief Resident of Pediatrics before joining Hinsdale Pediatrics in 1995. Dr. Franco is a teacher and mentor for the Family Practice Residents of Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and may have a resident working with her as part of their training. Dr. Franco has served as chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at the Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and currently serves on hospital committees. Lisa and her husband have two children, one boy and one girl.
Dr. Kathy Campbell completed her education at Loyola University School of Medicine before completing her residency at the University of Chicago Hospital in 1983. She worked at Wyler Children’s Hospital and was in practice in Oak Lawn before joining Hinsdale Pediatrics in 1995. Dr. Peshek-Campbell is a teacher and mentor for the Family Practice Residents of Adventist Hinsdale Hospital. You may see a resident working with her as part of their training. Kathy and her husband, Dr. Dan Campbell, live in the area and are parents to three young adult children.
Dr. Mufadal Moosabhoy graduated with his M.D. from Rush Medical College and completed his Residency at the University of Chicago Hospital in June 2012. He had previously worked in the field of engineering after receiving his degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana in 1999. He is the son of one of our physicians, Dr. Nafeesa Moosabhoy, and is known as “Dr. Moof” by his friends, peers, and patients. Dr. Mufadal Moosabhoy lives in the local area with his wife and three young children.
Dr. Meghna Kant comes to us from AMITA Health after working for Alexian Brothers Medical Care in Arlington Heights. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove in 2008 and worked as a resident at the University of Texas in San Antonio as well as Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. Dr. Kant, her husband, and two small children are local residents. She is happy to be working close to home and she is a wonderful asset to our office.
